Suited us perfectly

The villa was well located for our needs. It was an easy walk to Main Street, but was the end of the road so very quiet and private. Kitchen was fine for our requirements - breakfast in the morning and snacks. With a large group staying, you might not be able to cook up a substantial meal, but this was not an issue for us. Air con worked very well. Beds enormous. We stayed with our 6 year old daughter, she is a good swimmer and the pool was fantastic for us. If children very young or not competent swimmers, it might not suit. Villa starting to show some wear, but we were very comfortable there and had a great stay. The manager Hans was very quick to respond to all questions / requests and was very accommodating when we had to fly out late at night.

We stayed in Villa Brolga for ten nights - eleven days. Great location and very comfortable accommodation. Staff support couldn't have been better - from Hans the Caretaker who is a great character and able to help out with the smallest of questions we had, even providing details on a local doctor for one of our children who developed an ear infection. Keith the owner was our point of contact from requesting booking and was always very quick to respond and provide answers to questions. We had a very late flight home (11:30pm) and we asked the question of a late check out - we were very surprised and pleased that this wasn't going to a problem at all and we were provided a check out at 8pm with no charge or issue! Pool area is great as it has a garden and grass area - great for kids to have a play. We loved our stay and would return to Villa Brolga again

Villa Brolga is fantastic. The villa, pool and yard are very clean and well maintained. The beds and linens were very comfortable, the bathrooms well appointed and spotless. The manager is very attentive and helpful with anything required with the Villa, whether Internet issues or to get more water for the dispenser or with information about the area near the Villa and on Bali. The cleaning staff were friendly and polite in addition to keeping our villa and patio area clean. We didn't expect daily visits so that was a real treat. We really liked the location, close to the main area for restaurants and shopping as well as a short walk to the beach, yet very private and relatively quiet. It was fun to hear the distant sound of roosters an dogs all with no traffic noise. Having the full kitchen was great for snacks and drinks, especially our coffee, fruit & yogurt first thing in the morning. We learned from the manager, Hans, why there wasn't a coffee maker & learned from him how to make & enjoy coffee the Indonesian way. Delicious. When we booked we didn't think we would make much use of the pool but we were very thankful that we did. It made the heat bearable for we Canadians as the temperatures during our stay were hotter than normal. We honestly cannot think of anything to improve our stay at the Villa unless a phone is expected as in hotels. We understand there may be a phone in the future but we made do with our cell phones, texting/email and Internet for what we needed for communication. There is always the option to get a local SIM card, guess it wasn't that important to us with the alternatives provided by Hans. Thank you Keith and Estelle for providing such a wonderful accommodation.

Would have liked a small mixer for mixing fruit. Very helpful assistance. Hans was lovely and very obliging assisting and giving their time doing shopping - wonderful fresh fruit, fresh fish and lots of helpful advice on local customs and tourist assistance in organizing trips for our group. The way he met us was valuable. Its only a short walk to things and the oceon. Thanks Wisia King Janina Jan Jerzy Stefa.

Stayed here for 10 days with 2, 6 and 7 year old boys. Was a great location with a Spa laundry gelato shop many restaurants hardy’s taxi stand all only a few minutes’ walk. Btw check out graze at Maya restaurant (end of Kesari turn left across the rd next to 3 tablespoons) we went there 3 times for breakfast! Pros: great pool - water temp is great, pool is deep at the other end 2 lounges and umbrella huge beds separate 3rd bedroom great if you’re coming with family. The maids and yard workers were friendly there was a safe in each of the bedrooms Local owners in Busselton made it easy to discuss the house prior to booking with Flipkey We were allowed to hire a pool fence (we used Bali baby service and paid 180 for 10 days) Cons - but not deal breakers! Power is pre-bought in Bali so when it runs out you need to call Hans and he will come and prepay the next power supply (happened once towards the end of our 10 days) settings for 4 although - kitchen bowls, plates, dining table and couch seating dvd player often didn’t play the Bali discs (we went to galleria and bought a hdmi cord and watched movies thru our laptop). We would definitely stay here next time we bring our kids to Bali

Ups: - when booking, owners respond promptly and answers your questions - villa is in a slightly off, tiny road - quiet but perfect location. (There are cute small signs that says "16D Jalan Kesari" *arrow*) - Food, laundry, spa, etc. everything is still close by - cosy and very breezy. We spent a couple of afternoons just lazing around the porch/poolside enjoying the breeze and the sun - no mosquitoes at all (yay!) - Pool big enough to actually swim in (1 of the main reasons why we chose this villa) - can accommodate 2 cars out in front (but don't expect to be able to turn if there are 2 cars) - big comfy bed, and lots of pillows (double yay!) - Large bathrooms (triple yay!) Downs: Some knocking and construction noise coming from the next house at back of the villa (the workers are very friendly though. we opened up the kitchen door each morning to say hi!) - villa poolside gets sun up until about 4pm - Bath towels are a bit aged. We were fine with it, but bring your own if you don't like it. Pool towels are still okay.

My husband and I and our three sons aged 2, 6 and 7 stayed at villa Brolga for 5 nights and it was a fantastic place to stay. The villa was comfortable, the pool was very appreciated especially by our boys! The location was perfect, close to everything we could possibly have needed. Having been to Bali many times before but always staying far from the more popular tourist destinations, our experience at Villa Brolga has made us want to visit Sanur again. The owners' communication was fabulous and Hans the manager was very accommodating. Thank you Estelle and Keith and Hans, we will certainly be staying at Brolga again.

This villa was lovely! Set up in such a way that our teen had his own space and loved it! The pool and surrounds were very relaxing and the kids spent a lot of time swimming! The owners of these villas were so helpful, especially when our holiday was changed around due to the ash cloud. The price was totally reasonable and less than you would expect for such beautiful accommodation. Definitely would (and have) recommend Sanur Villas to anyone and everyone!!
Great Villa, safe and convenient location

Close to shops and next door to Klumpu Resort which serves the best breakfast ever. Staff were really good, Hans was always available and helpful. A very relaxing holiday. The Villa is at the end of a street so there is no through traffic, it is spacious and well maintained. Short walk to supermarket and an abundance of restaurants.
Great Location; Great Villa

We found this Villa to be perfectly located in a quiet street. Close to Main Street and beaches. Just loved the layout of the unit. Plenty of room for four people and everything we needed. Service was good and Hans looked after us. Will definitely stay again!!

Villa Brolga is in a great location, easy walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants of Sanur. It is as good as it looks in the photos - new, clean; spacious. The local manager is available day or night and was always happy to assist. We had a very relaxing holiday @ Villa Brolga.
A home away from home

We have just returned from a weeklong stay at Villa Brolga and highly recommend it! The villa was able to comfortably house 7 of us, including 3 children from 3 to 11 years, with room for us to spread out. Villa Brolga is a new villa, with a great swimming pool and yard large enough for the children to play in, in a very private location. The main bedrooms are spacious, as are the ensuites. The villa had good wifi access, cable television and a DVD player too. Villa Brolga is only a short walk to the beach, the main shopping and dining areas. This made it easy for us to eat out or choose to cook in the kitchen of the villa, which was complete with all you need to make it feel like a home away from home. This was our first experience using Flipkey to rent a villa and we will definitely do it again. The owners of the villa, Estelle and Keith, were quick to respond and made the whole process very easy. The villa was serviced daily and the staff were friendly but also respectful and non-intrusive. We can't wait to go back!
Classy with everything you need for an unbelievable price

We could not believe how beautifully presented this property was. It was more special than even the photos and virtual tour photos. The owners were a dream to deal with making sure we had everything we needed all organised. Transfers to the airport was so hassle free in the private transport provided. We have been to Sanur over 10 times at some wonderful accommodation but the elegance and privacy of this villa made it one our best stays yet.
